Apple Snow
An easy recipe to use up cooking apples that makes a light and delectable dessert that tastes wonderful
Serves 4
An easy recipe to use up cooking apples that tastes wonderful
- 500g Bramley apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
- 2 Tablespoons of Caster Sugar
- 2 Egg Whites
- Strip of Lemon Rind
- Whipping Cream
Method
Peel and core the apples and chopped into chunks. Place in a saucepan with a little water and the lemon rind. Heat gently and cook until softended. Place the cooked apples in a seive and press the pulp through with the back of a large spoon. Leave to cool. Take a large clean bowl and whisk the eggs whites to a stiff peak consistency. Fold the whisked egg whites and sugar into the cooled apple and divide into separate serving dishes. Whip the cream and decorate the top of each serving
